We are part of Christian and Missionary Alliance in Canada, which has more than four hundred churches in Canada. The C&MA is also part of a larger, worldwide family of churches and ministries called the Alliance World Fellowship. C&MA churches exist in 81 countries with a total of 27,732 churches, church groups, or preaching points, which involve about 4 million people each week.

We got our start in 1887 under the leadership of A. B. Simpson, a Canadian pastor, who was serving in the New York. Simpson, and others who worked with him, were concerned to reach “the least, the last, the lost” with an urgency to take the gospel message to all the nations of the world.
Saddlebag preachers visited the homesteads in Western Canada in the 20′s and 30′s and established Christian works, which over time formed into a more structured organization and officially become a denomination in 1981.
Strathmore Alliance Church was established in 1962 and continues to develop as a local, community place of ministry.
