Darrell Young – Darrell, Judy, and their four daughters came to Strathmore in 1997. Judy is a manager at a local business and all four girls are out of high school and involved in work and school. Darrell gives leadership to the staff and works with the elders to provide overall direction and shepherding to the church family. His passion is to see people of all ages grow into maturity in Christ. This is carried out primarily through the ministry of the Word and in developing a warm, inviting environment in which people can engage with God and each other. Darrell enjoys basketball, running, camping, hiking, fishing, photography, and reading. He is also known to take pictures of everything. Click here to email Darrell. |

Phil Adkins – Phil, Samantha, and their children began serving our church family in 2009. Samantha is at home with the kids and also works as a substitute teacher, all in addition to being an author. Phil is our Assistant Pastor and gives leadership in service planning, leading our music teams, guiding our small group ministry, and giving oversight to the development of our discipleship plan. Phil comes from a background in youth ministry and is a gifted musician and athlete. Phil is currently working on his master’s degree at Briercrest Seminary in Caronport, Saskatchewan. Byron Allan – Byron and Kim came to Strathmore in 2008, all the way from the Black Forrest Academy in Germany, where they both served as dorm leaders for three years. In 2010 they welcomed Kayley to the familyand in 2012 Josiah James. Coming from a youth ministry setting (which involved 24/7 interaction with the students) Byron has built our youth ministry on a strong relational foundation, mixed with lots of creative activities. His knowledge of Scripture and interest in growing our youth in its truth has shaped the priorities of our group as a place to come and grow. Byron is a gifted athlete and musician. Donna Fitzgerald – Donna, her husband Pat, and their two children came to our church in 2006 to serve as our Children’s Ministry Director. Pat gives leadership at Canada Post and the kids are busy in school, sports, and 4-H. Donna gives oversight to the volunteers who serve in a number of children’s ministries from the infants up to grade six. Her work also includes counseling young parents and providing resources for families. Her ministry extends beyond our church as children’s workers from other churches look to her for guidance and mentoring. Donna enjoys researching her family genealogy and executing the perfect garage sale deal. Click here to email Donna. |

Alice LeCerf – Alice and Leonard moved to Strathmore from Calgary in 2007. Alice serves as our Ministry Assistant and Bookkeeper. Her role is to keep everything organized and assist the pastors in their work. In addition to her administrative duties Alice is known to lend a listening ear as well as offer counsel out of her valuable life experience. Aside from Leonard, the love of her life is a spoiled little dog named Heidi. Click here to email Alice. |

Bob Voth – Bob and his wife Marilyn joined us in 2004 when they retired from the pastoral ministry. After a very short time Bob could not stand being away from active duty and was hired as our part time Pastor of Visitation. As their children were almost grown Bob left the concrete industry in Saskatchewan to attend Canadian Bible College to prepare for the pastoral ministry. He was the lead pastor in churches in British Columbia and Alberta. Bob and Marilyn are often the first on the scene when someone is sick and can often be found stirring up trouble with a very large group of energetic senior citizens in Strathmore. |

Elders

Jon Rilling – Jon and his wife Michelle are busy parents with four young children. Jon is a manager at a local manufacturing business. He grew up in this church during the time his father was one of our pastors. In addition to being our current board chair, Jon is an avid outdoorsman and runner. |

Clarence Kooistra – Clarence, Deanna, and their two girls have been on the scene for a long time, having grown up in the area. In addition to keeping his hand in farming, Clarence oversees a local car dealership. He is our current treasurer. |

Daryll Permann – Daryl and his wife Jamie are now empty nesters with all four of their children being married. However, as they are big into the grandparenting business, their home is rarely empty. In addition to farming, Daryll works for a large energy company. He currently oversees our missions program. |

Kip Dirks – Kip is a long time resident of Strathmore and works for Environment Canada. His wife Heather is a nurse and they both are very busy with their wonderful four children.
